Interviewer instructions

Ask each woman aged 12 years and above if she has ever given birth to a live birth. “ A live birth is any birth that shows any signs of life”. Many women do not like answering questions about their children. Each interviewer must therefore be firm, polite and tactful. All the births refers to biological children only.
