Interviewer instructions
Breastfeeding is important for fertility and child health. Note that for this particular question the period/length of breastfeeding is not important, only whether or not the child was given the breast to suckle.
Ask the respondent if the child has ever been breastfed. If the response is NO, code 2 and skip to question F10. If even after probing the respondent says she/he does not know, code 9 for Don't Know, though all efforts should be made to get the answer to the question.
