Tuition fee is generally not charged in Govt. schools in most of the states and also in private schools in some of the states upto certain level of education. There are some schools where students are not required to pay tuition fee. Nevertheless, a fixed some of money is to be paid such as development fee, library fee. Education in such schools should be considered as free. This item is applicable to the institution as a whole and not to the specific situation obtaining for the student.
