Question pretext
During the period January 1 to December 31, 2002, were there agricultural equipment, machineries, facilities and other farm tools used in the holding, whether owned or rented by the operator?
Interviewer instructions
The equipment, machineries, facilities and other farm tools that are most commonly used and their corresponding codes are pre-printed in the questionnaire. There illustrations are found in Appendix 7 of the Enumerator's Manual.

Description

Definition
Equipment, machineries, facilities and other farm tools refer to farm equipment and facilities used for agricultural activities. This includes large and small machineries and small farm implements such as bolos, sickles, etc. Facilities that are beyond repair are to be exluded. Include also those facilities that are semi-durable or have a lifetime of at least one year.
