Interviewer instructions
Question H3.6 what we are trying to determine here is the average number of days for which the respondent has not received water in the pipe over the past twelve months. Please note that if the respondent has a water tank they may not know when there is water in the pipe, in this case you should record “8” to represent “Don't Know”. For respondents with a water source which is not piped into the dwelling or yard Ques H3.6 is not applicable and this should be recorded by placing a “9” in the box provided, otherwise the average number of days is recorded.
