The table provides population of religious communities in five year age groups by sex and residence at India/ State/ District and City levels. The table is very useful in preparing population pyramid and finding sex ratio in various age groups. The data is presented for six main religions and the rest combined population grouped under the category ‘Other Religions & Persuasions’. The total population shown in the table includes ‘Religion Not Stated’.
