ind2000_ori
Subset of consumption data, extracted from the India NSS 2000 dataset. This file provides annual consumption values, by household and product/service. The list of products and services is the "original" one, i.e. the breakdown is the one from the original dataset (no aggregation/recoding). The file contains however the mapping to the standard ICP classification (which corresponds to the COICOP). Information on the production of this "standard" file is available in the document "Technical note on standardization process".
The Stata program "ind2000_prp_ppp.do" and "ICP_check.do" were used to generate this file.
